Australian Dual Nationals 🇦🇺🏳️

Paarveen Waran (19, Malaysia/Australia) played a full game on 2/14 for Vizela U19 v Chaves U19 in Portugal U19 Championship.

Please excuse my tardiness re this update, but it usually takes a few days for the match details to be updated on the source I am using (Playmaker).

He looks like a talented player but I think he has already played quite a bit of youth football for Malaysia and he doesn’t have much of a connection to Aus.

I read up about him some time ago. Seems to have been in Australia for more than 5 years. So is qualified as a dual national. Played some games in JDT Youth team before going to Portugal. Also played Youth football in Perth before heading off to JDT. This thread is for dual nationals. So that's why I posted him here because it seems to me that he is indeed one. Whether he would ever consider (or be considered) for Australia is irrelevant to this thread, in my opinion.

Danilo Treffiletti (18, Australia/Italy) was subbed on at 85' for Monza U20 in a 2-1 away loss to Juventus U20 in Italy Primavera 1.

Max Anastasio (17, Australia/Italy) started and played 89' for Bologna U18 in a 2-5 away win v Monza U18 in Italy U18 Championship.

Presently tied to Australia because he played in the AFC U17 Asian Cup in April 2025.

Treffiletti played for us in a (friendly?) tournie in Switzerland and looked a class above. Is he tied to us?

Mahdi Nicoll-Jazuli (16) played a full game for Chelsea U18 in a 2-1 away loss v Aston Villa U18 in England U18 Premier League.

Eligible for Australia, England, France and Sudan. Presently tied to England because he played for that nation in the UEFA European U17 Championship in October 2025.
