I miss 8pm Asian kick offs, I wish culturally we would lean more to 8-9pm kick off times but everyone's so concerned that their kid is still outside not sleeping instead of doom scrolling in their room.

Plus venues here die out at 1-2am.
 
Oakleigh's new stand looked great on the coverage. Preston travelling fans helped make it a great atmosphere. Some good quality games and some great crowds across both NSW and Victoria.

Does any know if the Preston player who was taken in the ambulance is ok? I worried when I saw him holding his chest.

Nice away win for SU - both clubs are rebuilding.
I'd say SO would have been very happy to play newbies SD - and the score reflects as such even though they have been a mess behind the scenes so well done.
Yer massive surprising big win for Marconi ! I'm sure we all expected Rockdale to have been better.

Bruh I wish npl teams in sydney would drop the stupid fucking 7pm kick offs (which ends up as 7:10 because they're always late kicking off)

We kick off at 7 in the dead of winter and wonder why the crowds consist of half a dozen dads & girlfriends

We expected more too.

There have been a lot of changes, maybe it is taking longer than expected to completely gel. We aren't far off. We had a good preseason. We'll get there.

19 new players, never going to be smooth sailing at the start.

Yes, we got 9 new players, however in our starting 11 only 3 were new, but some of the new boys played championship with us.

I'm impressed with our depth.

Yeah, fair. People here only really do one thing and then go home. Growing up, football was the pre event for an outing always.
