Decent looking crowd at Marconi v APIA, main grand stand pretty well populated. Based on aus championship offical attendances you’d think nudging the 2k mark. Humid day in Sydney today. Also good to see a little contingent of active support continuing the momentum from the championship

Willing to give them time. Throwing money around won’t always give you instant results, there’s obvious challenges when you’ve got multiple new faces in a team

Yer pretty ordinary - you guys had a lot more they sat back.
Hardly any shots with all that ball.
Lucky spirit hit the post to go 2up late 2nd.
Lots of work and getting to know each other.
Tried too many diagonal long balls.
Spirit happy to scrap that.
Mate was pissed being asked $15 entry.
Spirit as defending prems hardly pulled a local crowd.

Yea but early days for APIA, Stewart missing etc tbh last season started like this too, Marconi quick out the blocks and APIA slow. Parisi wanting to not peak too early etc we shall see

Good start for Marconi on and off the field.

The Aus championship certainly seems have reinvigorated clubs like Hellas and Marconi, in the lead up last season and by the looks of things that is continuing into this one

Good to see a rise in the professionalism of the broadcast too
