CCM under APL control

Only partially true.Lots of younger people from the Northern Beaches move here as not as expensive and still a beachside lifestyle.Erina Fair is where the main shops are situated so Gosford is no longer a shopping precinct but is a transport hub. Those new towers mentioned in the YouTube video are only about 3 minutes walk from the station so well placed for commuters.
I saw an interesting youtube vid about Gosford the other day by that Building Beautifully guy who talks about public transport in general and in that one he was talking about Gosford and how it has still a very long way to go despite the recent developments.

that video was posted here by me about a week ago ... either on this chat or another ... cannot recall

I had no idea how awful the place was. I really thought it was some sort of seaside paradise.

And not ONE mention that there is a ‘major’ football code represented there. They kept showing the ground, and just ignored it!
The Terrigal area is quite nice. Would live there.

Macs Avoca Wamberal Forresters Bateau Bay eat Terrigal for breakfast :)
Top areas of the central coast

Strayan soccer. The eternal derby against itself.
Lot of he said she said in all this

Hanlin said that the apl said there was a request for more information but hanlin says there was no request. Then the apl says there was a request

Should be easy to verify by making the request for info document public

Nothing is going to be made public without both parties consent. Non-disclosure agreements should be in force. If there are none, then they are very incompetent.

kind of wish everything was in the open

its impossible to gauge who is telling porkies otherwise

Is the second prejudice or fair?
Neither really. I doubt an A-League club would be turned into any sort of ethnic club unless we get pro/rel. It would defeat the purpose of having the A-League which was created to stop the NSL era racism and violence that plagued the game and gave it a "wogball" image.

As for the prejudice part, I think his concern's were more about the ethnic violence and stuff rather than the specific nationality (in this case Greek). I personally think the ethnic clubs have some awesome culture and the food stalls cook up some great food, overall the ethnic theme is quite cool, but I don't like the racism or ethnic tensions that come along with it.

On Reddit the opinion seems to be that Championship/NPL clubs (especially the big Croatian clubs like Melbourne Knights and Sydney United due to their Ustaše supporter groups) have a bunch of racist right-wing Ethnic fans who ruin the image of Aussie soccer. In reality it's a minority of fans that cause fights or are racist, but that's still a big problem (especially since they're loud and have big groups on Facebook, the boomers' favourite site).

I would argue that they are definitely not a minority given those kinds of people have been at those clubs for generations and the clubs themselves have done little to nothing to remove those elements.
