Yep never understood why the Croats & Serbs don't along or that the Scots, Irish & French hate the English or why the Poles don't like the Germans or the Russians, let not talk about the disharmony between Greeks & the Turks & the Portuguese dislike for the Spanish.

Why can we all just get along.

Recognition, reconciliation, and consideration do though.

Not hard to go, "hey, this day recognises the start of a centuries long colonisation that encapsulated attempted genocide and systemic killing and persecution, let's choos a date more appropriate"

I think the considerations of the first nations people of this land are more weighty than those of migrant ancestral Europeans
