I’ve watched the second half and Bennie has actually been pretty good. A couple of nice touches (one backheel in particular was lovely) and good pressing. The conditions are absolutely shocking though, it’s been a really tough watch.

Had Farrell not gotten injured he'd have featured somewhat. Waddingham needed an immediate loan but has also had injuries. Matthews has actually been promising in the pitch but for injuries.

It's been rotten luck and Portsmouth will hopefully stay up.

Sam Silvera subbed off at the half for Middlesbrough, who are locked at 1-1 with Stoke City in the second half of their game following a 48th minute equaliser.

Silvera subbed off at half time. He was a scapegoat in a terrible half for Boro. From that first half, I could think of 20 players in the A-League who would have done better than most of the Middlesbrough players. None of them could hit a 10m pass. Silvera was actually quite good compared to his teammates. He made positive runs in behind and put in a dangerous cross. He got fouled when he skinned his marker and kept possession well under pressure. FotMob says he got 5.9. That’s very misleading. He was not the problem with that team. I just couldn’t understand how many turn overs they had in their own defensive third just from poor passes. I’ve turned the game off now.
