Sign Up Now!Nobody applied. The application and selection process occurred when NC was going through quite a bit of turmoil/unrest (over the voting reforms) and hence the football federation was withdrawing teams from international competitions. One of my biggest gripes with the closed shop qualification (for CWC and no real clarity on pro-league expansion) considering they're probably the second, and if not the third, strongest federation in OFC.Anyone know why New Cal didn't get a team?
Oh yeah that's true. Maybe next season they'll expand since things are well and truly calmed down now. And yeah they're definitely one of the stronger OFC sides.Nobody applied. better or worse than npl vic?First match - teams were quick but technically not the best.
The Kiwi derby so far is a decent standard.
You’d assume the two New Zealand teams would be in the top 3. I think we’ll get a better view of the teams after the first round of fixtures.
which raises the question...whats the standard of the ofc champions leaguePeople on Reddit are saying better than the OFC Champions League.
Lower half of NPL Victoria teamsbetter or worse than npl vic?
hopefully it ends up better than the npl in the next few years. I guess it takes a few years to get the competition goingLower half of NPL Victoria teams
Kiwi teams are decent - somewhere between NPL and Australian Championship standard.
Depends on the team. New Zealand teams heavily dominate it. The only non-Australian/NZ winners have been Hekari United from Port Moresby and Hieghène Sport from a small town in the North Province of New Cal.which raises the question...whats the standard of the ofc champions league![]()
