i caught up with the director of football at Avondale over the Christmas Break and i was amazed at how wealthy and professional Avondale are.

I think he was saying their annual budget for the year for everything is like 6mill. They employee 5 full time off the field staff, have their own office etc.

Apparently the owners just bought 2 seats into Western United. I'm assuming he meant positions in the board.

Its ridiculous for semi professional football, they got more wealth than A-League Clubs.

Just a shame they got no fans to share it with lol.
 
They are not liked down here that much. Lots of money but have little support.

Interesting to see how they go with the mass exodus of coaching staff and playing squad.

Who needs fans when they are going to take over the license and re-brand next year anyway...

What's UNSW up to this transfer season? Given how back and forth the League One title race was last year, they'd probably also need to make some good signings to be able to compete.
