Which is very much a symptom of the salary cap and low grant money. It's the same story at the other clubs. None of the clubs have any real depth anymore. Injuries/suspensions to any key starting player have a massive impact. We are a third of the way through the season now and no team has really pulled away from the pack. Every team is beatable. Auckland may look good on paper, but their last three games have been against bottom table opponents. They haven't been completely convincing against better opposition.

Sydney FC are cooked then as Joe Lolley's injured his right hamstring again and the injury seems to be quite serious.

As far as I can see he did his hamstring initially less than two weeks from when he played again on the weekend. He shouldn't have even been on the park.

Yep, the injury was literally a timer waiting to go off.

Loved seeing the young Jets team beat SFC.

I should qualify this post.

It was good seeing a young Jets team, who can be inconsistent, defeat what I have considered to be a powerhouse this season. SFC have looked very hard to beat, despite missing Joe L in attack.

One South American SFC import has slick close ball control too. Very easy on the eye.

True, but nobody wants that.
We all want our team to dominate the rest and the teams we hate to be scoreless at the bottom.

One thing about SFC and Talay as coach is he knows his youth and we’re and when to play them. Losing lolly is big but even though I’m no SFC fan I can bet they will have a decent young kid ready to take up the roll and not disappoint.
