Australian news and politics.

Tragic for the non Hamas affiliated ones but the majority were from Pallywood and Hamas members.

We're they combatants?

Didn't think so.

And what about the international media not allowed in?

Slap a press vest on a soldier busy like a rat in their tunnels or an operations centre in a school or hospital to try and claim some kind of immunity.

No denying there are different categories of journalists out there and the crimes need dealing with accordingly. The Hamas combatants being disguised as non combatants is just another tactic to deal with. Bit like Okinawan civilians with suicide grenades.

It's satire clown.

It's also broadly true.
Freedom of the press has really become freedom to write shit. More education is needed in schools to show how bad it is and people should just turn it off and with some luck they'll go broke.

My personal favourite is asking someone how they get their news to be met with 'I don't watch or follow the news or media.' Yet amazingly they have a lot of deep opinions on topics. Social media is suppose.

Catch 22 is while it may reveal things in a raw and genuine way, it's so susceptible to lies too. Just like houses of religion, they've got everything to gain by exploiting the gullible and vulnerable.

Albanese confirms changes in wake of Bondi attack will include new laws targeting radicalisation of kids - https://www.9news.com.au/national/b...r-attack/880bef65-efe9-4f42-93ad-fab56a862ebb
In before people saying well that's the church stuffed then. Had the trust not been broken, the authorities wouldn't have gotten involved. This isn't an overreach when phony religious offices are used as breeding grounds for hate and indoctrination under the guise of religious education. The fact you can have people who come out of these places and they then hold public speeches alluding to terror being desirable is enough to have them raided and shut down.

Stands distributing religious material and then the evil grinning when thy get called out as they know they've got protection under religious freedom but very much support the radical agenda and know their foot soldiers will eventually act.

Should just change the title of this thread
In fairness, it's been 9 days on from the first terrorist attack on this country's shores since the Martin Place Lindt Cafe siege, it's going to be the main news discussion point for a while.

That's not what I was referring to. I don't want to get into a debate too

All a bunch of fucking slimy hypocritical cunts.

The first post-Bondi poll suggests real but limited damage for Labor on voting intention, and a solid hit to Anthony Albanese on personal approval. Coming in at 54-46 to Labor.

Nine Newspapers commissioned the poll from Resolve Strategic, I presume it was commissioned specifically to gauge reaction to the Bondi shootings and it was conducted Wednesday to Saturday from a sample of 1010.

Political parties do a lot of internal opinion polling too. Especially in the wake of a major event such as a terrorist attack or an interest rate hike. Sometimes it forces them into a little tweaks here and there in policy or rhetoric.

Slimy hypocritical cunts?? Yeah....that's one of the more accurate ways to describe politicians....
