Mate, that's just incorrect. He was rejected because they rated others better than him at the time. He was 14/15 at the time mind you, so as we know, may not have taken his football as seriously before he moved over to Tony Basha's academy. BTW, I think he grew a foot in his first year over in Italy, so that with his technical ability was going to help dramatically
I heard his attitude was apart of it but that could be wrong.

someone told me that his development was the ideal if you want an elite player

short when young and not particularly athletic which means he is forced to develop his technique to compete. But then had late athletic development including a growth spurt, so he is a tall player that plays like a nimble short player

Comes down to a multitude of factors but Gladbach play a 16 year old to give him a chance when Italiano was stuffed around for 4 years and given a first team number is frustrating. Same with Hamburg playing this raw Norwegian kid with only 11 pro games before. He's not being selected anymore and will be loaned but baffling high faith in someone so raw.

Nearly 100 games for Irankunda before Watford move so the minutes were there.

Blackburn with another glowing Instagram post about Miller. Fans saying his best performance in their shirt & MOM. Does Tony just play him at right CB, as he seems to dominate there?
Popovic likes it but we've just got too many defenders. Miller will be centre back cover regardless but we'll end up picking Degenek and Rowles too yet one probably has to make way if Souttar returns. Geria is also a maybe but he's a handy RWB especially from the bench.

Personally I would pick just Miller, Geria and Elder and drop Degenek and Rowles. These 3 have absolute versatility while the latter two can play as fullbacks but not wingbacks. This would allow for more midfield or striker picks. Bos is a lock and emergency RWB coverage from Metcalfe or even Irankunda probably won't be needed.

A shame about Baccus as I felt he warranted one final look in March given the lethargic displays from O'Neill in the last windows.

Jackson Irvine starts for St. Pauli as captain in their Bundesliga game against Mainz. Connor Metcalfe on the bench for St. Pauli. Kasey Bos not in the matchday squad altogether for Mainz.

Why was half the paragraph white (I fixed it)?

Similar to my own development. I was still a shortarse when everyone else had grown so in order to survive I became the filthiest player on the pitch - constantly flinging myself at much bigger players but somehow getting free kicks.

Then, when I was sixteen, I suddenly grew seven inches, but I was still the filthiest player on the park.
