Australian news and politics.

I'm just extremely frustrated by your maniacal support for the far Left.

If this was a Coalition government in charge you'd have been baying for blood after the events of Sunday.

All you've done is defend Albo and his weak leadership which did lead to what happened on Sunday.

When is someone in the Labor party going to stand up and show leadership and stamp out anti-semitism and radical Islamism once and for all?

I don't believe I defended Albo at all but happy to be proven wrong. You assuming things and jumping to conclusions doesn't make it so.

I've been arguing about Israel and how they've slaughtered 10s of thousands of people which probably didn't help matters and how Netanyahu can fuck off and how banning free speech and protests is something we should carefully think about.

Your hysterical posting makes you look like the child you probably are.

And....just a reminder

94 seats.

Stop with the 94 seats crap, you look like a braindead, rabid Labor supporter.

Yes Israel slaughtered people but you seem to believe that they should've just sat back and let Hamas run riot and take more hostages to murder like they did and not retaliate for what Hamas did.

Do I feel sorry for Palestinian civilians yeah I do, the problem has been that Hamas have been hiding like cowards under schools, hospitals etc so that innocent civilians get caught up in all this.

It's rather unfortunately left-wingers have swallowed the Hamas Kool-aid hook, line and sinker.

Oh and what have Jewish people who've lived in Australia for decades done to deserve the disgraceful treatment that mentally ill lefties have meted out to them?

As for being a child, I'm in my 40's.

I'm glad I had my childhood in the 90's.

I wouldn't want to have my childhood now, I feel extremely sorry for today's kids.

Based on your posts and your ravings it seems to me you'd be happy to have a Trump style government here. Given you indulge in the same sort of extreme rhetoric. (Commo, pinkos, mentally ill lefties etc etc...)

That 94 seats thing is important because it represents a direct repudiation of Dutton and his TemuTrump efforts to get elected. IE your whole personality.

So cry all you want. The Australian people rejected that garbage here and the 94 seats prove it.

Empathy is not a weakness it's a strength. There's plenty enough areseholes in the world. In a world of areseholes be a kind person instead.

And you may be in your 40s but you sound like a child.

What was said yesterday, needed to be said on Sunday night. Or Monday morning.

You’re right about sweeping statements, but the prime minister, and other ministers of his government listed examples of threats to Australia, and did not include what actually caused this whole thing: Radical extremists. And then the other side fans the flames by lumping everything in. Something in the middle (like yesterday) would have (ideally) stamped that out from happening immediately.

Taking a look at official transcripts, Sunday’s address was fine - there wasn’t any explicit mentions of other threats, and was just about protecting Australians first and fforemost - but Monday’s pressers and etc started causing issues, and that’s exactly when the flames started being fanned from the other side too.

It’s like.. a building has burnt down because of a gas leak, and authorities/fire chiefs putting out statements about all the risks of fires such as faulty wiring, bad insulation, electricity overloads, arson, et al - but leaving gas leaks out of this list. Sure - warn and deliver on other threats to Australia (and also don’t generalise all cultures into this), but don’t gloss over what happened.
I think we'll agree to disagree on strategy here. Albanese knew he was in a tough spot. He could come out and say it was Radical Islam, which I think he did at the time, and immediately he is putting a target on Muslims. He could say it was support for Palestine, which would then be putting a mark on millions of Australians, and justifying the genocide.

I think the right approach was not to label blame. He made it clear that it was extremists who had no place in any group or society, and that the key response was unity, not division.

Coalition went the opposite. They've gone with division, and now we are seeing flames be fanned.

Eventually though, Australia's political establishment has to stop pointing fingers, scapegoating, political point scoring and come together to work out a way forward for the country after this atrocity....

Otherwise antisemitism, islamaphobia and all these other hate filled ideologies will just fester and fester and nothing will get solved.

And before you know it there'll be another attack somewhere else on everyday innocent people who are just going about their business.

Although if you were to really press me on the particular issue of further incidents, I think these kinds of domestic terrorist attacks will keep on happening. Maybe not as horrific as Bondi but still terrible. Not just on Jewish people but Muslims as well. When hatred becomes deeply ingrained onto the hearts and minds of extremism addled nutjobs it's difficult to erradidicate.

It’s so sad seeing how much you are enjoying the mass shooting of Australians. It’s sad that so many people like you exist in this country. You seem to be having the time of your life laughing at the events that have occurred and enjoying the pain and anger that it’s causing.

You are a sick sad little man. I hope we never meet in person.
Post of the Year. Brilliantly said.

No one's enjoying it cobber. I've already explained what my arguments are.

If you're too thick to read them and comprehend them then I can't help you.

You're still skirting over what did Sydney's Jewish community do to deserve what happened on Sunday.
This is where you lose us all, not one of us has ever felt anything but compassion for the 15 Jewish/Australian people.
No we are not all communists. No we all don't vote Labour even if Jack the ripper was their leader.

We are just not all pointing the finger & blaming Albo, but unable to provide a alternative to ALBO.

Personally I think scum like that man should be kicked out of the country.

Australia doesn't need people like him in this country.

You'd just love that wouldn't you. Boot me, Robbie, zimbos out because we disagree with you.

What a guy.

I think I’m agreeing with you regarding the strategy - I just don’t think Albo particularly did that strategy.

It's skirting around the issue.

Guns weren't the problem this time it was the radical ideology behind it in the minds of the two terrorists who lost the plot on Sunday.

It'd be nice if leaders of both parties stop pussyfooting around and deal with the root cause which is anti-Semitism and Islamist terrorism.

Guys, there are a number of posts in the last day or so which have crossed the line.

We are a community on this forum and we can only continue to be a community while we share values - such as respect and tolerance. We don't have to share the same opinions but we must respect our fellow posters. Those who do not show respect and restraint are not welcome.

You have several hours to delete your own posts if you suspect you've crossed a line but if you don't, they will be deleted by mods and warnings or even bannings will follow.

This is clearly an inflammatory topic. If you can't discuss it with reason and restraint then do us all a favour by not posting at all.

Your post is very vague, could you point out the members who are liable to banning, yours might be different to mine.
With admiration Mr Clean:confused:

echoing that, please reread the forum rules and if in doubt about a post feel free to ask a mod, though my preference would be that if you are in doubt, that's probably a red flag and you should take the initiative to edit/delete your post and consider making another way to express your point with respect
