I think you missed the point - we weren't talking re football or nsl it was about afl Vic back in the day had a origin game vs's SA players who played in the Vic comp visa versa and prob wa incl I can't recall the facts for it was a lonnnng time ago.
the hatred also came to be because NSWRL ran over QRL all the time, they dominated selections for every International game as well And that before the proper SOO with Beetson as Capt the previous NSW teams had the Qldr's playing for the Blues (who played in Sydney comp) against mostly local Metro league Qld players for MOST TOP players played in the large NSW/Syd comp back then.

Just quoting facts, in Sydney, it's not saturated like Melbourne, I don't watch channel 7 or 9 I don't have foxtel, I don't hear talk of AFL much, never see juniors playing the game, so no reason to hate a sport.If you didnt have any sort of feeling for it you wouldn't mention AFL in every 3rd post you make...... just saying
yep same here, you hardly see it driving around, infact I drive past 1 oval don't see anyone playing it.
