There’s this movie SAIPAN about Ireland’s disastrous preparation for their ‘02 WC campaign that culminated in Roy Keane walking out on the squad; it stars UK comedy-veteran Steve Coogan as then- NT gaffer Mick McCarthy:



And here’s the clip of the climactic bust-up between McCarthy and ol’ Keano:

yer I watched this pre WCup from memory.
River ting actually but when isn't it involving Keano.
Pity he was a great Manc for I admire the type of player - no BS.
Was a stark reminder of that WC - gawd McCarthy at the time must have felt like an utter gimp.
The walkoff at Training having just arrived, media everywhere - omg.
Imagine the member of Parliament coming over to try extinguish the fire as well.
