Just watched the BRI v MAC game.

Brsibane down a man for 40 mins. Caceres, Ikonomidis & Brattan with heaps of ball but no end product. How on earth did Popa pick these guys. They all peaked low and offer nothing these days.

Caceres and Brattan have been very good A-League players but they are well past their peak days.Ikonomidis never seemed to have reached his potential-injuries have been a problem and perhaps attitude. A pity as at times he has looked very good.

Caceres still cut us apart a few times last night. His quality is still on show. A few good players round him and he is still dangerous.

Brattan on the other hand played a more physical role in midfield/DM so as his speed decreases he has to rely on more hactical play and the increased use of mouth muscles.

Ikonimidis has always seemed a step lower than his reputation should have him - so even when he plays well I think he should be playing better.
