If the Matildas end up having a disastrous 2027 Women's World Cup campaign then Joe Montemurro definitely needs to be getting his matching orders because us forumites cannot be the only ones holding the coaching personnel to account as Heather Garriock and Football Australia come in to bat for them which we've already seen with Popovic in the days following our World Cup campaign coming to an end, and the inherently flawed selection policy only means that we're inevitably going to have another disastrous major tournament cycle unless things change.
