I'm sure many here already know about that site but I've only just taken notice of it. It looks like the site was created just when I fell away from the sport for a few years, so I missed it all. But damn they have some interesting articles. Maybe it's just interesting to me because that entire period is a blindspot for me haha. I missed all the FFA/APL split, the TV rights, the expansions... a bit to catch up on.

Isn't this site around 30 years old? The standout name seems to be the one I had in high school.

While I was guilty of it during the highly energetic start of this forum and this topic does warrant its own thread, can all users please reconsider starting new threads when a post in a current one would suffice? We had this discussion somewhere else and the general consensus was new threads for core topics but not random thoughts of the day- not saying this one is.

Not sure, but it looks like their Aussie section started around late 2016, or maybe they deleted the older articles?

Agree re new threads. I planned on posting more interesting articles as I found them, hence a seperate thread. But yeah, it probably could've gone in the general thread.

Four Four Twp Australia magazine publisher and founder Andy Jackson went to work for Goal.com's then owner Footballco, a sports media company based in Singapore after he left Australia.

It's now owned by someone else and Jacko is working for another digital sports media company in Saudi Arabia.
