Just taking a look at it, the La Liga tiebreak rules are interesting in that, if teams are on equal points, it comes down to a head to hear between the various teams. Levante appear to be effectively safe; the only sequence of events in which they get relegated looks unlikely: "Levante go down if they lose and; Girona beat Elche, Mallorca fail to beat Oviedo and Osasuna avoid defeat against Getafe. In that case, Levante would lose out in a head to head tiebreak with Elche."

Riley McGree and Sam Silvera will be staying in the Championship with Middlesbrough next season after they lost 1-0 to Hull City in the Championship playoff final following a goal to Oli McBurnie in the fifth minute of second half stoppage time.

Keanu Baccus and St. Mirren stay up after they got the job done 1-0 over Partick Thistle in their Scottish Premiership playoff final second leg game to win their tie 2-1 on aggregate after the first leg ended 1-1, and will continue to play in the Scottish Premiership next season.
