The Socceroos are in an interesting group, it's going to be very tough. The USA is not a bad side, and Paraguay is a tough South American team. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see the Socceroos getting out of this group.

Are you sure about the NRL having similar participation rates to football?, here in Sydney at the amateur participant level most kids,teenagers and men play football (because it's safer than Rugby League).
