I consider South Melbourne to be the opposite of a sugar hit, fancy new franchises are sugar hits Granted the time to bring in South would have been between 2005-2010, but god they couldn't possibly do worse than WU, and you have a ready made fiery rivalry with Victory right there

Do we think the APL would be considering throwing South Melbourne a bone? I think it would be the huge shot in the arm the A-League needs and could really re-ignite the league in Melbourne which has really stagnated since COVID They will be desperate to salvage this upcoming broadcast rights...
