The half time show was mostly crap. Could have just had a quick show and still kept half time at 15mins. This can’t be allowed to happen again.. as well as ad breaks.

I wish I had stayed in bed and just watched a replay. A bit of a snoozefest for most of the 90 minutes.

Apart from getting knocked out by Spain, the rest of the games have been quality. It has definitely been an enjoyable World Cup to watch.

The population is 11 million. We are punching way above in terms of producing quality players. Spain has close to 50 million. No idea if we are looking at Spanish practises.

Basically every town has a team. I think part of the issue with Boavista was the stadium they got after Euro 2004. Too big. Some of the stadiums financially ruined some of the smaller clubs.

Tragic news. There were two clubs started last season in the lower tiers. The original club after splitting from the SAD (Investment Company) and a supporters club. Looks like the original club is done and the supporters club is still around as Panteras Negras (Black Panthers).

Technical is all we were. We had nothing else. Too passive with the ball for most of the tournament.
