Feels crazy he wasn't able to find another a league club.Crazy that Kane Vidmar who has been capped by the Olyroos earlier this year has been signed by West Torrens Birkalla
He trialed with us but was unsuccessful. Still thought/still think he could get a deal somewhere else thoughFeels crazy he wasn't able to find another a league club.
Contrary to populae belief, aussies actually emphasize technique and underemphasize athleticism compared to europeans. So a player like yengi who is technically poor but athletically elite probably fell through the cracks a bitHe trialed with us but was unsuccessful. Yengi is actually technically good though?Contrary to populae belief, aussies actually emphasize technique and underemphasize athleticism compared to europeans. So a player like yengi who is technically poor but athletically elite probably fell through the cracks a bit
Disagree. He’s a physical beast but to use the old expression “He has the touch of a rapist”.Yengi is actually technically good though?
If that were true, he wouldn’t be a good dribbler which is one of his strengthsDisagree. He’s a physical beast but to use the old expression “He has the touch of a rapist”.
Crazy the level of nepotism - gets selected by his DAD for the Olyroos, can't even get an A league contract & gets signed by an NPL club!!!Crazy that Kane Vidmar who has been capped by the Olyroos earlier this year has been signed by West Torrens Birkalla
He’s good enough to play AL in farinessCrazy the level of nepotism - gets selected by his DAD for the Olyroos, can't even get an A league contract & gets signed by an NPL club!!!
He's an ok player, a league squadie at best. No way he should've been picked for the Olyroos though - he could've given Dylan Leonard or Girdwood-Reich a crackHe’s good enough to play AL in fariness
Viduka was built like a Mack truck but could dribble past playersI would say that Yengi definitely is a player that likes to dribble to beat players. He also does have a rather large, 'handball' sport eg AFL/NRL body type with a lot of muscle/weight on his top half.
Prob not very athletically suited to dribbling but he gives it a crack regardless.
And he had the best first touch by any Australian not named Harry Kewell.Viduka was built like a Mack truck but could dribble past players
Oh for sure!! And a rump like a mack truck too and that's my point! Yengi is a bit big up top with chicken legs.Viduka was built like a Mack truck but could dribble past players
Really curious where he goes. He is getting decent minutes and had the occasional startGerman media reports that Metcalfe is moving in the winter. Maybe seeking more minutes. Bizarre that coach has kept the same team week in week out when they keep losing. St Pauli primed for relegation. They should change the coach to try and save their season. A few other managers have recently been sacked and a huge relegation battle against heidenheim this weekend. Metcalfe would do very well in upper championship club IMO.
fotmob has Metcalfe plating a total of 263 min. That's pretty low to be fair. With world cup in his sights he needs to play more regularly IMO. Yes, it will be interesting to see how this unfolds.Really curious where he goes. He is getting decent minutes and had the occasional start
