Football Manager 26

First signing right off the bat as soon as I started was Holly McNamara and I had Shelby McMahon score an Olimpico on Tillies debut but there are still some problems like being unable to arrange your own international friendlies because no teams are available for all the international windows, amongst other things.
That's on the mobile? I'd love to win the Asian cup with them. The PC game is getting trashed on social media maybe the mobile is better?

Mobile version is easier and quicker. If you don't want anything too serious, it's a good game. Free if you have Netflix!

Been following along with it all a bit.
Heaps of bugs in the Beta and basically an unfinished game.
Missing the release day with no update is just mind blowing.
I'm still excited for it and will be waiting until the kinks are ironed out.

Is women's Asian Champions league in the football manager? I want to play as Canberra

Not sure about whether PC has the AFC Women's Champions League but mobile definitely has, I'm currently doing a save with Melbourne Victory and qualified for the comp in my second season.

In fm 26 mob you can tell players when you're international manager to go to another club which I love because that's something we talk about all the time in AA.

Problem is players react poorly to it so it's made the feature pretty much pointless

You can also tell players they need to improve performances or get more game time, but the feature is a bit hit and miss for me because sometimes players react well whereas other times they don't, and when you pick squads for major tournaments they end up getting pessimistic about going all the way and winning the whole thing.

One thing that is bugging me is whether I'm playing with balance or positive or very attacking, it seems to make no difference going forward. In the old FMs, when I went to very attacking, I was able to jag at goal at times to equalise or get a late winner.
I think player attributes and abilities now play more of a part in whether tactics work, but I agree that it is annoying to not be able to equalise or get late winners with balanced or more attacking-based team mentalities, even if you have players with good current and potential abilities.

This is interesting.

So if you put the 'mentality', if that is what it is still called from memory, to balanced compared to very attacking from the first whistle it doesn't seem to make a difference? In how they play or the outcome?

How they play/ outcome. I also don't seem to score many, if any, goals after 80-85 mins.

I tried to develop my own tactics for two seasons but couldn't get any consistency. After a poor start to life at Peterborough, I did a bit of research and found a tactic similar to mine but with some slight tweaks to the defensive shape.

This is the start I made with my original 4-2-3-1. One win, 2 draws and 1 losses in the first 4 league games. Two losses in the cups.

This is how I finished the season with some changes to my tactical set up. 30 wins, 7 draws and 5 losses in 39 league games.

Nice little tactical switch that clearly paid dividends! Looks like high line, press to win the ball and then get on and create a chance - like it!

Peterborough would have been odds on to win the league yeah? How are the goals that you are creating with the ME? And most importantly are you enjoying your save/the game?

Yeh, I think we were up there in terms of being favourites. I lost a few players because they had just been relegated from League One and wanted to leave. I was with Tonbridge in National League South the first two seasons. They were relegation favourites in my first year. Finished 15th then 9th (I was 2nd in the first half of the season then things went down hill). Tonbridge got relegated in their first season without me.
