Thanks for those pics. Brought back many memories of playing at that ground. It still looks exactly the same!

One of the games I remember well was, as it happens, a 2-1 defeat of South Hobart in which I botched a near open goal from 3 meters with the kind of style that makes it onto "worst misses" showreels. After all these years, I still shudder when I remember it.

Then ask yourself why the AFL announced the team without a stadium. They know what they're doing, it's emotional blackmail of the people.

TBH - the only time the fed ALP gets involved seems to be for major tournaments or precinct revitalisations. I suspect even if the stadium is squashed there will be a revitalisations project - just with a different centrepiece. Like Adelaide riverside, docklands etc
 
And they still want to burn through over a billion dollars for??

Have played with and against them, been coached by them, been taught by them, have done coach education with them, and one was my uni lecturer!

One has been into my house visiting.

I’m heading to Tassie in about ten days, my Mum lives there. Gutted this has gone ahead. The Tasmania state government will be stumping up a minimum of $875 million……….
 
Andrew Dillon and his underlings@ AFL House must have some seriously-hardcore dirt on the TAS State Gov’t w/which to blackmail them into greenlighting this, I swear..😔

It will be cold after Malaysia. We have had a freezing spring, with little sun. Plenty of warmer weather than average supposedly coming.

Mind you it has warmed up in the last few days. I've swum in the sea today that has warmed up to 15 degrees.
