I wonder what’s the process for a new sport to be added to the Games? Keep in mind that cricket🏏 only debuted at the ‘98 edition in Kuala Lumpur(though hasn’t featured continuously since)

I think it's because football already has a shit ton of games. At the Olympics the men's teams send under-23s though so maybe they could go to the Commonwealth Games too? The women's teams already (for some reason) send their full national teams to the Olympics so it would be overkill to send them to the Commonwealth Games as well (in fact even sending them to the Olympics is overkill in my opinion).

Maybe make the Olympic tournament for under-23s and the Commonwealth Games tournament for under-21s?

As I posted earlier, ⚽️‘s best bet for inclusion in the Games would be through Futsal and/or beach-football, not full-11v11. Because for the latter honestly, amateurs and/or semi-pros would be the most-realistic criteria moreso than youth-players.

Just on the playoff spots as well:

For the two FIFA Play-Off Tournament placeholders, in order to comply with FIFA’s general principle to ensure that no group has more than one team from the same confederation drawn into it, the confederation constraint will be applied to all three teams within each pathway of the two FIFA Play-Off Tournament placeholders in pot 4.

EDIT: Technically actually is wrong as due to the confederation constraints, once I have drawn everything, the one error (Iraq's playoff path being placed with Japan) cannot be simply swapped with another group for the same pot - so there will be a redraw!

A little out of loop, not so long ago we were looking at having to overtake Korea/Iran/Ecuador/Austria to be in pot 2 but that didn't need to happen afterall. Was it because Denmark didn't qualify direct?
 
ah well Dec 5 can't come soon enough so we know what we and poppaball are up against !
