Wallabies thread

Early try for Wallabies in Paris. Hot and cold against Lions, decent rugby championship but this European Tour has been poor yet I've seen comments of lots of experimenting.
thanks! I just switched it on

Think Australia should kick every penalty goal opportunity tonight. They've often attacked and turned it over right away.

Missed easy penalty. Just negligent. Get head screwed on!

missed 2 from 2 so far

not used to union boys missing shots at goal

Noticed es kicked for touch and lost it. Could've tried for 3. Winning the whistle it then a we phases we lose it.

The South Africa Ireland game was amazingly better in how South Africa's defensive positioning just suffocated Ireland.

felt like we deserved that try after a lot of enterprise from the aussies not coming off

France with a massive forward pass for a try. They don't even rule those anymore. Australia penalty for deliberate knock on. Just a joke you can't even move you hands near the attacker.

Should've taken the 3 yet again. Probably miss though.

Australia 3 giving the penalty 5m put is just so incompetent.

Oh wow yellow for France. Decent ref really. Just hate the modern laws with 'deliberate' knock ons.

Good maul try Australia but it was complacent in that the blind side was basically free to just fall. Only man was a winger against a big hooker.

Wallabies centimetres from the line and a stupid high pass. France get it and run away but wow the ref rules a forward pass.

Wallaby shoulder close to French head but the frog was dipping. Rugby call. Ridiculous that attackers can go into the tacklers shoulder and the defender gets the red.

Australia to finish second then face 2nd E so Japan or Samoa you'd think.

It's like the Asian Cup with best ranked 3rd placed teams advacing. Australia's group is a joke but 4 more teams was an important expansion.

I can do the maths and while it's great for the minnows to face the big names, some kind of smaller pool may or may not be interesting to have them advance that bit further in the tournament.

Pool B is actually good with 3 nations vying for second place.

Pool 3 is tight amongst the 3.

The draw has been pretty kind to us.

Great to get the All Blacks in the pool stages so we don't have to face them until later on should we make it that far.
Rugby has come along way but it's diluted with Pacific Islanders and South Africans for many nations. It's not a true reflection of their player development.
