A-League Mens 25/26 - Round 5

Craig Goodwin is on the same plane back as him I would imagine.
Goodwin only arrived back this morning. Doubt he'll start tonight but we have other players who can come in and do a job. City on the other hand will likely have to start an injury replacement keeper who was plucked out of the NPL and has never played an AL game before.

Sometimes you can come across a gem a keeper

This guy is playing mind games. Very sneaky haha good luck tonight

Can't kick a bloke in the bollards. That's a red.

Finally a ref told the VAR to jam it.
Completely agree. He kicked out at Kuen’s groin. Clear case of violent conduct. The half time commentators Cornthwaite and Djite were really showing their Adelaide bias in disagreeing with it.

It reminds me of the Beckham red card v Argentina in the 1998 WC.

That red has killed any Adelaide go forward which was heaps entertaining before he got sent.

Harper doesn't have a clue. He tripped him by cutting across the back of him. Accidentally of course but its still a trip and that's a foul.

Djite is an idiot as well.

Goal rightly ruled out.

A healthy 10,260 at Adelaide tonight.

Seriously, Adelaide are what every club in this league should strive to be:

- Proper football stadium - Not trying to be something that they aren't (Melbourne city, Nix, Wanderers to a certian degree)
- Proper connection with the city - Have made Friday nights at coopers a genuine event
- Strong crowds - Only club without a derby to average 10k crowds every year since Covid (Starting 2022-2023 season)
- Good team - Always decent, never rubbish
- Able to weather a shitstorm when it happens (See this off season)
- Promote youth and sell them correctly
- Doing all this without a derby, and they wont get a derby for the foreseeable future

Just a good club from top to bottom. Only thing they need is a proper training centre.

Probably the best run club in the league if we are being honest.
