Come on NoMates - tell us how Auckland are going to dick us 3-0 when we cum there.

Then we're in with the chance I am not so secretly holding onto.

Actually I have figured out you have to believe what you type for it to be totally wrong. Can't cheat the fates that easily.

I think Brisbane will push them and be hard to score against but it'll be interesting to see if you can score against them

I reckon it might be a pretty even match-up.
Both teams have scored 5 and conceded 2 so far these season.
Roar have 3 clean sheets / Auckland have 2 clean sheets
Auckland will be missing Hall and Rogerson due to suspension.
McGarry (Roar) and Randall (Auckland) are away on International Duty. Game on Wednesday in New Jersey, but both might be available for Sunday.

Randall vs mcgarry is actually a key match up I think either team is happy the other one will be missing

Good round, Jets and Wanderers really need wins, I’m expecting something from them after the international break. Big Blue hopefully should be a cracker.

will be good to see poor old perth play jets back into form

roar v auckland will be an interesting test. They don't have to win, but we will know if roars turnaround is real this weekend I feel

I believe the turnaround to be real - the question for me is how long till it comes to fruition properly.

We are not a dominant side yet and every game carries doubts - that is the thing I am waiting to be gone.

yeah dominant would be too unrealistic expectation from where we came from. A 1 goal loss or a draw would make me wonder if we will build something. Our style reminds me a lot of some of the weaker european leagues. Yes its on the deck (like all a league games) but there is an economy of chances and you have to fight to break every line because. there is little time and space

do you know where brazette is by the way?

I don't know, Roar is full of surprises this season so anything is possible, Auckland have a few players out from Red cards to injury's so it could be them getting dicked cum game day. I'm picking a draw.

I can't see an injury for Brazete anywhere.

I think he is just not first choice for Valkanis for the run on side or the bench on gameday.

From his post match interview a couple of weeks back, Valkanis clearly favours MacNicol as his young winger/forward of choice.

There is actually quite a bit of competition for positions this season and as good as that is for the team, I think it will see players like Brazete given less opportunities than they deserve to grow into the players that we see they could be.

It may just be MacNicol's advantage that he has Valkanis' eye.

Then again, that could have just been Valkanis' spin on the day and we may see Brazete on the bench this weekend or next anyway. He brings something that I like to see in taking on players and creating movement in opposition defensive structures.

Unfortunately for him, his last appearance for us did not see him either dominating the space around him or taking advantage of the one good moment he had. It can be as 'little' as that putting him off the gameday squad.

I'm tipping AU to beat MC as I can't see Patrick Beach being able to play for MC. Only possibility if he does not play against Colombia and immediately boards a plane (1st class) back to Melbourne.

I hope you're right grazor, we don't have a very good record overall against Perth. Just lately, most games have finished 2-2.
2-2 paying $10 for those that like a flutter;)

Poor perth have been so hapless lately and newcastle look like they have potential. Looked like something better than potential at the start of the season!

Craig Goodwin is on the same plane back as him I would imagine.

Where's Perth coach????
From aleagues.com.au:

"Perth Glory’s interim head coach Adam Griffiths believes the Isuzu UTE A-League club are not in a hurry to make a permanent appointment.

Griffiths has stepped into the hot seat after David Zdrilic was dismissed by Glory last month and Perth are still searching for a new head coach.

Former CommBank Socceroos boss and current Iraq coach Graham Arnold and ex-Yokohama F.Marinos coach Patrick Kisnorbo have been linked with the vacancy."
