A general discussion and match thread for season 2025-26 of the AFC Women's Champions League, which gets underway this week. This thread is meant to replace the previous A-League Women thread currently on the Matildas board which turned into a thread for the AFC Women's Champions League last season, so please put general and match discussion for Melbourne City's fixtures in this thread instead.

Melbourne City women thrashed Stallion Laguna 7-0 in their second AFC Women's Champions League group A game to record their biggest win in club history. Leticia McKenna scored a brace, as did Deven Jackson on her maiden appearance in the comp. Aideen Keane and Danella Butrus also scored, along with Leah Davidson who scored her first ever goal for the club on her 89th appearance. Karly Roestbakken made her return from injury, coming on at the half, but Holly McNamara was forced off in the first half with what's likely a calf injury.
