The Australian Championship 🇦🇺🏆

This will be my last post on the topic as I know there are people on here who are likely politely waiting for the food discussion to finish. Fresh, authentic, well made pasta beats everything. What other culture has a more iconic, universally known and loved, versatile/diverse dish at the heart of its cuisine. If you disagree you’ve not had good authentic pasta before. Full stop. And on that note I’m gonna pick up the ball and take it home with me.

Now you’ll all excuse me while I go get myself a souvlaki for dinner
Pisano - calma no need - we have the gusto covered.
I luv tapas but we got the entire experience covered :)

The world has voted with its feet unfortunately. Everyone in the world knows Italian food as a unique distinctive world cuisine, most of humanity couldn’t name a Greek dish. Grilled meats are ubiquitous globally. Aside from soccer food is another topic close to my heart, if anyone wants to organise a 5 v 5 in the park over which food is better I’m happy to indulge

Italian food is all carbs. Way more variety with Greek food.

Your never gonna believe what I had for dinner last night? hahahahahahahahah

being a foundation club is never a given eh.
Beauty of football barring the utter mess SU is in such bad timing compared to all others.
Olympic as has been discussed haven't done great lately, won NPL in '22, wheels fell off '23 9th and 8th last season.
Wolves last won the NPL back in '19 - since '21on finished 6th 9th 7th 11th last season.

Shame for all but how it goes.

Foundation clubs - 64 points after 5 rounds
NPL champions - 47 points after 5 rounds.

I doubt this will change too much this weekend.

Will make a big difference if/when it goes to a full home and away league, that’s when the talent will really start to condense at the x number of clubs
this is a major one right now being the start.
Some teams have retained most of their winter season squad and done some buying - whereas such as SU 8/9 new players in the team.
Spirit lost their season winning gaffa + players who performed the season.
Many players for whoever have only been signed for the Championship.
Etcetc - I think the Melb based teams have been more stable than ours.

IF it ever gets to H/A (fingers crossed) then Clubs naturally will set for 2/3 seasons ahead.
