That’s how it stands after 4 rounds.

A win this Saturday against Broadmeadow Magic will secure top spot.

Then you can rest some players or give time others that need to gel with the rest of the team.
Exactly... although i was for Olympic going through they need to do.it off their own backs now though.. i want the win to take magic out of the equation and then play the fringe against moreton!

I may be wrong but why have i got it in my head from these threads that highest placed foundation side will get semi??

Heard someone else say that but no idea where they got it from. If it was true we arent far locked in, can only see Heidelberg accumulating more if we slip up and they arent foundation.

Heidelberg wont get to host a semi against US, in a strictly VIC semi Lakeside is the only venue capable of hosting this! Neutral is what, Coopers street? bc home of the matildas surely wont even play into this unless they decide to scaffold 3 new stands into that shithole!

For now we only go off this as gospel i guess, but its a positive that they seem to be waiting to see how the quarters pan out before they make that call, in that i find solace in the idea we can push/pressure to host it!

South needs to use its muscle to convince the federation to host a prime time quarter final irrespective if its Preston or not. 1pm and 3pm is pisstake, Friday, Saturday or Sunday evening would do, pick the one which doesnt have A league on in Melbourne that night.

It should be on a Friday night with Victory and City not playing at home on that night. Hopefully both clubs work together and push for it but I suspect they’ve been scheduled on 1pm and 3pm to facilitate broadcast agreements

TBF he was turned and put on his arse by a beautiful bit of skill... Didn't do much else wrong all day.
I didnt mind that bit, it was him barely breaking out of a walk to get to the ball that angered me, he should have got to that ball first.

He also headed the ball straight to the olympic player at the end who fresh aired it.

Agreed with others Lavale had a garbage game, looked like he gave up 5-10 mins into the second half... Habibis goal was very tasty and Lampard, what can I say, the kid just turns up every week.

We march on, 4 from 4 and despite som sketchy periods, look fairly cohesive on the ball.. Have to watch out for stupid/lazy turn overs but Sisi has us playing a pragmatic but sometimes flaboyant game... its entertaining to watch.

The whole matchday experince was a littel flat for me thgouhg.m loved the trip with friends and meeting everyone at the pup for a march, flares, banners colour etc...but a thousand (at best) people inside that massive cavernous ruin of stadium seemed really shithouse... Some Jesus looking dude playing bouzouki with two kids in Roman gladiator Halloween costumes seemed really lame... not even going to mention the Priest lining up with the Sydney Olympic team prior to kickoff... WTF I thought he was going to play? I feel for the SO supporters that showed, where was their crowd?

Yeah thats fair.. There was a serious lack of intensity in the first half. Its like we have to get scored against to wake up sometimes...

Our support was fantastic I think
Great mix of the old heads and some younger teenagers/early 20's... away end was bouncing

They had a priest BLESS the team about 10 years ago!!

So they still have a cohort at that club pulling stunts like that.

Thats a freedom of expression thing and we dont know the connections in place at their club/grk community, so it remains irrelevent to us (id have preferred they focused on 28η Οκτωβρίου but thats just me!).

Lets not forget that we at the front end of this still and cant be selective (anyone and everyone that gets through the doors is a win, orthodox priest or atheist Bobby all alike, if they choose that bc it gets more there, then credit to them as ive said before, they arent US..... problem is they seem to have really lost the community they suddenly want themselves to lean on and there is a huge distrust there that with the factions still in play yo some degree they have poisoned the crowd,

Oh we had a fantastic time, both at the ground and the trip up. The pub meeting was great , real away day vibes, the Clarendon Corner travels well and non stop chanting for 5-6 hours with pyro show on the way and at the ground... whats not to love about the mighty blue and white army coming to town :)
