Green & Gold FC podcast

I'll suggest something else if that's ok. For mine, the best raw talents come from non-stop ball work at home from a young age. All the tactical and physical stuff can come later. But practising against a wall and dribbling around your backyard or local park is the best thing you can do, and it's free, fun, and in your own time. Maybe one or two coaching sessions on the basics of touch and execution, but the rest of the time you need to learn how to curl the ball around your dad's car and under the lemon tree. Non-stop experimenting and seeing what works and what doesn't without other eyes on you. I think this is a strong foundation to build on, but only speaking from personal experience in other sports. I wouldn't think there's too much of all that at the clinics and academies, I'm guessing there's a tonne of tactics, but I don't know.
Indeed we didnt include tom byer taking over our development as an option

Another good podcast!

Nice to see you on video, NCB! Both you and Aaron were interesting guests speaking about governance in Capital Football and the effect on feeder clubs.

Nic, your image disappeared frequently and was replaced by a blue and yellow emblem, so we couldn't see you on video.

I'm always disappointed to see that Capital Football, as the peak body in the area, have declined to participate in this Podcast. If it is definite, I'll write to Capital Football and state this to the CEO.

Are Thomas Crossley and Pat McCann still involved in CF?

I'm shocked to hear Aaron quote it costs $1400-1500 to play a season for 13 yos!

Good hosting, active listening and appropriate questions posed by Graham and Alex.
Happy little outcome for Monaro out of this today

PS - I'm a comedy genius, and I hope Capital Football's new email filter remains effective.
