Big Ange thread

Usually when a manager has a short stint it’s usually because the manager was not a good fit at that time for the club.

Amorin has been given a lot more time than Ange obviously has, and people were saying last season that he needed a full preseason

Convenient choice that one.
Why ? He had one and a bit seasons, with no success.

Go back and watch his interview this morning were he said, look at my record, and I always win a trophy everywhere I’ve been. He never even mentioned second season. I found that strange.

Many of those 18 goals Forest copped under Ange were against the run of play and usually on the back of Forest missing sitter after sitter. The EPL is ruthless but goals change games and they simply couldnt score.
11 were from set pieces, according to the studio tonight.

Taking over Gladbach would be decent. They're currently dead last but have a lot of good players who like attacking. It'd have to be a long term thing but it's a club with a bit of money and ambition.

You went out of your way to pick the exception. While he did win anything he lost a preliminary final and then went on to manage the national team with success.

Sorry, I forgot the Greek team he got the sack from as well. That’s two.

He did make questionable decisions as national manager. He played a brad smith with no game time for his club, and had mooy on the bench in the playoff against Syria. He was a post away from not qualifying us

Not the post argument again. Australia hit the post many times. We should've won I guess.

Thankfully Smith got hurt that night and Mooy was subbed right on.

The back 5 didn't work. He liked Smith for his athleticism and it was until half time against Saudi at home that Behich coming on changed the left back situation.

The persistence with Ryan McGowan was a liability.

Has it common that it was a basket case organisation. Greek club football is chaos as is seemingly ownership.

Popovic's time in Turkey simply doesn't count as it was the weirdest thing going.

Ange Ange Ange……
I’m sorry to see but I really wondered what was in your head taking that gig.
Talk about going right into the frying pan.
Us novice punters could see this wasn’t going to work out you were a dead man walking from the get go.
Real shame is all else I’ll say.
