Big Ange thread

Not sure how the owner could have watched today and not seen how unlucky forest were. It’s probably good for Ange though as it seemed the fans already made up their minds

BREAKING NEWS: Ange Postecoglou has been sacked as Nottingham Forest boss 🚨

Ange shouldn't have gone to Forest. Players are a bunch of panel beaters. The performances have generally been good but players aren't technical enough to consistently perform simple actions (passing, driving into space without turning it off, hitting the target with shots, etc). He needs to go to a country that appreciates technique. Bundesliga, Ligue A, Liga Portugal or La Liga.

Fuck it. A mess from the outset under an owner who expects and already declining injured squad to master a system in 6 weeks. An asterisk for Ange.

I felt that the pressure seems to break him but every time it hits a peak he's determined more than ever.

There is a stat going around that this is the first forest manager without a win in 8 games. How many managers were without a pre season, had two days to prepare for the first game against arsenal, had to play two games a week, and takeover a manager with a completely different philosophy.

Easy for the people who dislike him to bring up stats that suit their agenda. Someone should send them a picture of his trophy cabinet.

Exactly. When it comes to getting results over time the track record is sound.

No denying there are issues in his set up but give him time and windows to work and you're in with a very good shot.

And the shortest reign of any manager in EPL history.

I’ve watched Tottenham this season, and there are the same issues as were present under Ange last season. If you look at Franks side stats for expected points, spurs are bottom half this season. You can only overachieve for so long, as it requires players to be overly clinical which always averages out in the end.
