It just makes sense to have an away bay - it is more fun to sit with your peers and make noise than being a lone voice in a crowd. Nothing about segregating dangerous opposing groups in that - just a better gameday experience for visitors.
Again, I have no real issue with the concept of an away end. im just saying as a security precaution it’s probably unnecessary for this fixture. And as above, it’s a shot part the ground to allocate them. (No cover/out in the elements etc, poor acoustics etc)
Most away bays are in a shite part of the ground all around the world. Usually in a corner on the camera side of the ground, so as to no visibility.
Dont know where, but ive heard of clubs deliberately making opposition dressing rooms crap to get an advantage. Do the same with the away bays haha
Yes, they do - this is the group who I could hear discussing how I forgot my pre-match Krispy Kremes before AR'ing a game. I did rate that hahaha
I know in Rugby league they do this at the suburban grounds, no hot showers being one of them.

Doubt it..maybe I’m not the one to speak on their behalf but despite SUS being working class blokes who im sure are capable of standing their ground if need be, from an observers perspective the core of the group aren’t dumb kids, they’re adults, and I haven’t seen them actively seek out trouble for a very long time. im sure there were incidents back in the day, but those were different times. Especially those travelling down that far for a game, I doubt they’d be random ring ins

Sydney Croats never had a problem with Macos until Rockdale came in the league and younger generations decided to be heros. Thats now resulted into a decade of hatred and rivalry.
We got along and still do with Bankstown City Lions. The old Lions Pride back in the day used to frequent our NSL matches, especially against Olympic. With Mileski at the helm now, there is nothing but respect between the two clubs. He is one of our most loved players. I remember a cup match i think in 2023, Bankstown came to Edensor, knocked us out of the cup and mileski donated $1000 to the bar for our supporters.
i hope to see Bankstown back in the top flight. More than happy for them to replace Rockdale
