NCB I'm having a feeling Zak is on Lando's side to win the title more than Oscar.
What a let down once again for CLC when he a had car fast and handling well - why didn't his Engineer listen to his cries, later to be a chassis prob, like whats going on.

Rumours on the street is that the problem is that Ferrari have to run their ride-height low to get performance - but depending on the structure of the race (eg, will there be a safety car? Is it raining? etc), if nothing happens, they need to add tyre pressure to the new sets of tyres to compensate and raise the ride height in the latter parts of the race so as to not wear the plank too much and get disqualified.

Kind of makes sense given that his drop off was immediately after that pitstop, and that they were so vague and secret over the radio.

As for McLaren and their strategies seemingly going Norris' way (yet again) - this time I think it was very much a case of lucking into it for once.

Thank christ good ol Bathurst lived up this dreary Series we have !.
The Mountain giveth the Mountain taketh away.
161 laps there is always something that cause's havov @ Bathurst.
Luv knowing rain was coming always shuffles the pack in spades.
Epic race - great many of the fav's lost out and failed, especially T8/Red Bull can't stand Feeney haha
Kudos to Penrite/Grove well deserved Bathurst win and starting from 18th !
Congrats to all that finished this race is a marathon.
Great viewing.

yer I hear you re not on the watch list the way the Series nowadays.......
SC run a terrible show and have lost alot of following the way they run it.
Lots of politics came out over the weekend it was fun to see a driver such as Brodie call them out.
I was up there on Friday purely for alot of biz networking so I still keep tabs And Bathurst is one race I keep watch of.
Glad I watched a bit on Sunday some of the racing was like the ol days really going for it and with the wet conditions made it even more exciting.
Watch the replays NCB, its worth it.
Also glad FORD won I'm a blue man from way back even a Mustang isn't like admiring Falcons :)
 
Absolute nightmare for McLaren this morning - lucky it was a Sprint race...

LOL - despite it hurting our own Oscar I'm so glad its dented Lando's charge like hitting a brick wall !
I'm right behind Max defending the title for what a comeback from way back will this be !!!

My racing idol since a kid has passed away yesterday.
My ol man being in the spare parts industry the company brands were sponsering many teams/drivers of varied varieties in the sport hence my passion of cars/racing etc......
We'd be going to speedway car bike racing some weekends ala Oran Amaroo parks and Bathurst.
I met this bloke whilst he drove that killer Coke Mustang in the pits, sat in it after a win and I was hooked.
He was the pioneer of professionalism into Oz motor sport and one of the main characters developing Ford Holden rivalry.
A Legend of the sport and a good bloke I met him a number of times over the years at functions/Industry nights was always a pleasure.
Thanks for the memories your a Legend of Oz motorsport next to Brock.

Someone put together a scenario where we can go in to the final race completely tied on points and wins

haha what timing - now anything even more re Moff will be double price.

I have been dreaming buying a coupe for years - not to do a complete resto but one I can turn key drive and fix here and there.
They have been gold pricing for years - I should have got one many years before they went up and up.
Those ATCC cars and GrpC era are the best Aussie racing cars around.

yep the pom media will be unbearable as well.
It will go down to the last race unless one suffers DNF's that is unlikely - just need someone to get in the way of Lando, force an error and some offs.
 
I so hope Oscar get back to some face pace up front form And that Max is with him to knock back lando the last 2 races.
Gonna be full on that’s for sure

Luved seeing locally T8 get burnt at Adelaide.
What a weekend that was - right behind Chaz finally getting a Championship in the Ford before the Toy switch.
The bants and all between Walkinshaw/Whingecup was a hoot.
Supercars finally woke back up thanks to introducing the finals series it really needed it.

As for F1 hahaha omg what a Mclaren farce/call that was.
Poor Oscar got screwed but I'm luving seeing Max coming up fromt he rear and putting it on against 2 cars for he's got no support from his co driver as we know.
Huge huge last race and I'm glad time wise will be great for me for I'll be in the middle east from tomorrow night for a couple of weeks - infact I'm going to see IF I can get lucky through some contacts I'll be landing in Dubai Sat before lunch.
Track is an hours drive from Dubai.

I’m still not sure if I’m a fan of this finals series.. I’m glad Mostert won, he’s been an uncrowned gem for years, but under “traditional” points, Feeney guarantees the title with 2 races to spare, and Mozzie finishes 5th… that’s how much of a season Feeney has had.

With F1 and McLaren - it’s come back to bite them again hasn’t it? The perception of favouring one driver over another has indirectly led to them fokking over Piastri - commonplace throughout the season. Some animals drivers are more equal than others it seems. I need to have a look and see what Dave Hughes is up to online today - the next day after a McLaren mastershit is always hilarious

yes agreed about the finals, always been a Chaz fan he can drive fast as, kind of like a mansell for ages, many brain farts but then it all comes together.
Yes Feeney had it ont he bag, he'd be so pissed but young hence why I'm happier Chaz he's been knocking on the door as you know.

Man, it would be epic IF my colleague from there has some pull/contacts but a wish, I've sent him a heads up.
Otherwise its hanging at a sports bar in Dubai.
