Its referenced in that review and the original smh article and im sure others aswell. I read a lot of reviews of it before buying it and it stuck and I gave in after the smfc blog review, for the life of me i cant remember it in the book either but i remember it was one of those points that provoked me, now whether it was from the article or a review, you may be right and i bundled it in during that time who knows... without a digital copy to check it it will take a whole re read and may even turn out to be a quote attributed to someone else in the book as you stated. Ill see if i can land a digital copy and do a scan to see if its picked up, if anyone else has a digital copy thay can do the same?

What in heck people see in that Gen-Y knucklehead(who BTW shoots his shot w/his younger female co-workers, among his other character-flaws) to keep him in gainful employment, I'll never know.

If he is a sexual harrasser that sounds unpromising....though maybe he is just trying his luck more innocently (dont know the context)

Oh, I didn't imply that at all. It so happens however that his GF is that Kat Sasso bird who he and his podcast clique worked with a few times; yeah I get they're consenting adults but it's never not skeevy, IMO - plus the fact she has a very cutesy look, which personally doesn't do it for me in the physical-attraction department. But to each their own..

Yeah apparently a lot of people find their partners at work....but it seems a risky place to do it
I feel like dating in church is by fair the place with the least minefields, I feel bad for my mates who do online dating or try and work around the minefield of workplace dating....

I disagree mate... Sure they are young and pretty annoying to us fossils, but they are perfect for the younger dmographic theya re aiming at... Im never gonna be on my pohone watching a match or "consuming content" but there are heaps of youngsters out there that might.... This is a good thing in my eyes... In fact, this whole week, there seem to be 40 thousand pod casts and youtubers mentioning the South v Olympic game and how they are going... I reckon their will be more selfies at Lakeside than actual football fans... lol

The Suited&Booted crew(or at least just ‘Jerogba’) are more my speed and still perfect for the young’uns, albeit not the U18s specifically.

Makes you wonder where Eli Mengem is ATM that could be occupying his time instead of being in town for the occasion tonight..

Yeah I get it.... but horses for courses... for this thing to go well it has to be covered by as many angles as possible is my take on it...

As for Copa90 ... yeah I don't think old Eli is much of a grass roots football person (unless its overseas) ... a child of the Lowy revolution who loves the "idea" of football culture but not the application NIMBY.

If anything, that describes Flogari to a tee; Eli’s never given me that vibe TBH(re. the latter part of the sentence; he’s admitted in interviews that he did indeed fall in ❤️ w/⚽️ as a result of the ‘Lowy revolution’)

I think, after the first weekend, that SBS gets a pass mark for the advertising and broadcast in general.. YES there are many deficiencies but, nevertheless, an improvement over "traditional" NPL and after all it IS a second tier competition... I can only assume next round will get better?
