Big Ange thread

Arsenal fans singing sacked in the morning. Trying winning a trophy with such a squad at your disposal....

Sure but they're just coming at Ange stupidly and they've underperformed for too long. Surprised there was some noise in the Emirates library.
 
Ange's debut as Forest head coach ends in a 3-0 loss to Arsenal away. Forest now drop to 11th on the table four matchdays in, with Arsenal going top of the table but everyone else still has a game in hand.
 
All things considered I don't think they played horribly and there were definite some pretty good signs after only having one full session with the squad.

The main concern would have to be that a nearing 34 year old Chris Wood simply doesn't fit into Ange's pressing style. New bloke from Rennes might be more the go and we may very quickly see Wood sent to the pine with a January exit on the horizon.

Gladbach just sacked their manager. I would've preferred Ange to go there on a project.
 
Didn't need to make those changes at half time, they were in complete control.

Zinchenko looks good dropping into midfield. Few more men in this midfield rather than kids like he had at spurs.

But fuck Ange just needed to shut up shop at 2-0 up and get some runs on the board with the fans.
 
I don't understand any of this.

A game of football was played and the team that had enough clear goal scoring chances to score 5 comfortably didn't convert their chances and they paid for it up the other end.
Isn't that as simple as it gets? If they shut up shop being 2-0 up then they just invite pressure away from home and don't get to 'play' their football. If people don't get by now that Ange likes his team to actually play football...with the football...then they are beyond help.

I mean Spurs had more chances in the second half after the half time subs so that doesn't make sense either.
