HAhahahaah a musical theatre "athlete" talking about sport rules? hahahaahah
The thing in all this is…he’s exactly right"It seemed like they had some rules, like a good set of rules, and then they let a bunch of five-year-old’s go in and change it up."
HAHAHAHA
Are'nt there enough "tea drinkers" or "knitting appreciation" threads for ya?Lock and ban the OP for starting this thread.
A very powerful industry with tentacles in all places. Can't help but be in awe of the beast.Hope nobody is watching the footy there would be a few triggered people.
Commentator said where else do you get 99,000 at back to back games
Best sport in the world
Great atmosphere tonight to be fair
Their self-promotional talk in itself isn’t what really bothers me anymore - what does is the fact that the FFA/APL have for the past 2 decades and continue to suck up to those people, despite all the evidence indicating that they don’t want to GAF aboutHope nobody is watching the footy, there would be a few triggered people.

It's just a few "ruffled feathers" in the AFL
They'll object to that descriptor because they make a big deal about being a remnant of the old Fitzroy Lions.Watching the sheilas and mexican grand final today
apparently a brisbane franchise is in the grand final
just scored a "soccer goal"
I guess that makes them an ethnic club in brisbane retaining some of their victorian migrant identityThey'll object to that descriptor because they make a big deal about being a remnant of the old Fitzroy Lions.
The only non anglos that are decently represented are the Italians.Have to say, you really notice how anglo all the names of players are watching an afl match
probably much more anglo than the general population
In a sport as inextricably-monocultural as it, that stands to reason. Bears to keep in mind also that not all of these guys* are from the big-smoke; heaps are from rural VIC/SA/WA where let’s face it, the White Australia Policy never fully went away(demographically, anyway)Have to say, you really notice how anglo all the names of players are watching an afl match

Other than First Nations, yes.The only non anglos that are decently represented are the Italians.
