Why not. Some good short term contracts are very affordable for the clubs and reasonable for the players. The best of them will hold out for A League contracts however not all of them will at the moment. Any club administrator worth his salt will have been sniffing around this situation for a couple of months at least.
 
Nice to see as I’ve speculated previously that at least this championship for all its current flaws re format etc has all the posters on here connected to traditional clubs on the same page discussing a single completion instead of two parallel state based ones. Shows how deprived soccer fans are in this country that I get a kick out of that

South are under serious pressure to promote the Sydney Olympic game with all the attention in the coming weeks likely being given to the Australia cup final.

We ve agreed on that, in the past, answer is yes he does! But not if it means spending all the budget on him and not getting a playmaker, or wingers that can feed him constantly, bc i cant see someone there to do it. It will be counterproductive having fornaroli and nothing else IMO. If we get him.at q decent price and strengthen the ballers around him then yes its a good option!

100% and we have all been calling for more for moths and months now!

The AU Cup final should be the focus now, nothing better for second tier than one of its NPL clubs winning it before the lauch of the championship, even of it is the bergers that take it home! Could we wish for better marketing/promo story? Ot will drawnay neutrals and the curious to get a look in on our shiny new comp! Imagine the cup next year when others believe they can win it!
