Another site says the Mexican league is back in the game after an absence of several years, which is nice I guess.

I’d take the above-article declaring that all EU continental-comp qualified clubs are in the game with a massive grain of salt, as that’s never been the case in prior editions.
 
No Australia national teams in appears. Makes the game feel thinner as a lot of the Australian free agents aren't listed. That's only contingent in their being called up though.

Wow FIFA has gotten worse and worse it used to be fun I'll still get it but probably won't play much

Yep, this is what's going to keep me from playing it. Manager/Career mode with national team is the bread and butter for me - so with no Socceroos, I'll be giving this quite a miss.
 
The way the game play has been described bodes well. Less rigid player movement and I think formations are back with player movement. Smarter keepers should prevent silly goals.
 


FFS still got the set formations and instructions. If the players track back and make intuitive forward runs then it'll be alright.
 
I'm trying to get confirmation on something. Career manager mode allows you to choose 5 Leagues with in depth stats and coverage. One youtuber with his upload was scrolling through and said in the Manager market, the place to seek new jobs, will show clubs from the 5 Leagues selected by the user. Surely they're not going to limit your spread to 5 specific Leagues? What if I want to go from League 2 to Liga 3 then to Denmark?

They're definitely holding out for some world cup add on. Only stadium option being that hell hole MetLife.

That 2010 WC game where it had every single country and you could go through all the qualifiers was elite.

Also loved the classic scenarios and challenges to play through.
