That was all stopped in NSW , mid way through last year , as the Westies were kicking up fuck about discrimination and all that.

People who can get drunk watching ninety minutes of football, should maybe not drink at all.

Avondale all the way for me, when they win they have no supporters to brag about it lol. Bergers do my head in.

AAMI park changed the policy this year and now sells full strength, although I'm pretty sure it's technically a trial here in Vic.
If a person is drunk at a football game, you'd have to assume they were already pretty drunk when they entered the stadium. Or they smuggled in a good amount of spirits. An additional 1% alcohol content in beer is largely inconsequential.

Of course they are controlled by the FA. And they do for the first point.

A league clubs DON’T have to play in a specific town, or forgo their logo. FFS, you are just talking utter rubbish there.

You also know, that a fair whack of the premier league is made up of modern day, foreign owned franchises.

Well Man City is the founding franchise of the CFG group I suppose and Liverpool is the first football franchise for Fenway, but I dont think the rest are? Maybe Forrest being part of the Marinakis Heroin/football business and I know a couple of others are trying to buy smaller clubs around the world.to establish their own Bettys Burger's empires.. My point is they are NOT franchised to the EPL... and they CAN move stadiums or towns whenever they hell they want... (they chose not too because it would cost too much and they would cause a fan led riot, but they control their own shop) They can (and will) breakway into a sup[er league in the coming years... and not a damn thing EPL or the UK FA can do about it.

Under FA rules they can’t just upsticks and move to a new city. Industrial suicide comes to mind, as you say.

FYI, their is no UK FA, there is four separate associations.

For the breakaway, that has not been challenged in UK courts yet.

Its NOT actually a rule and plenty of clubs have shifted locations, admittedly much smaller clubs unless Coventry playing in Birmingham for a while is considered (that was temporary though I think?)... It is industrial suicide 100% but NOT a rule.

as for being challenged in UK courts, it hasnt had to yet agreed, but remember reading something about FIFA being powerless to intervene and taking a very dim view on political intervention on football matters... a few federation have been banned by FIFA over the years for political decision governing football matters.... if it comes to it it will boil down to if FIFA wants the superleague to go ahead or if they dont... ...and we know how much those little piggies love money...

It is not FIFA, but UEFA, I believe.

The clubs you mentioned needed FA permission to move as they were homeless, but no more in Coventry’s case as have bought their home ground back again at the weekend.

Coventry and Birmingham are also geographically close, both midlands clubs.
