If we're looking purely at FotMob stats (I haven't seen either play this season) then 2 players should definitely be on Popovic's radar - Cam Devlin & Fran Karacic. Both have had a great start to the season.
Cam's season FotMob average - 8 (up from 7.3 last season)
Fran's season FotMob average - 7.8 (up from 7 last season)
Cam's passing accuracy 91.5% & tackles won 67% have also increased.

Crossing and end product was my frustration with him from memory.

The Socceroo joined the Belgian Pro League outfit in July from Melbourne Victory and hasn't hit the ground running. His last five appearances in KV Mechelen's matchday squads:

It is a concern, considering Popovic will probably still pick him. It looks like he is Stuck behind 2 bolted on CMs that have started every game
