The Western United Thread

I don't recall much optimism of both new shops.
Sure some would have thought great and APL media machine would have talked it up but I think it was more smoke and mirrors than anything else.
Nothing looked right fit for both case's.

Sorry mate, your right... but I jumped back on to read some of these posts from the start (I wasnt posting back when this all started) and found this doozy ... sadly none of the main Western fanboys are around anymore ..... :(

Seems as though Kurcharski can't officially sign for Western United from Sydney FC as their FIFA transfer ban is still in place. What an administrative clown show that place is, offends my sense of professionalism.

This seems to be making a bit of fun though :) Super was supposed to be paid yesterday... I hope so otherwise you
ll have a pretty disgruntled team take the field tonight.... Lucky the franchises are financially stronger than the Championshop hopefuls.

All depends on how you look at it.
Maybe the APL are actually doing the right thing for once by not just letting the money do all the talking.
Maybe WU going belly up isn't actually the worst outcome.
Obviously it sucks for the players, staff and fans, but so would having another owner like Bakries who do the bare minimum and nothing more.

I've seen some reports saying they can sign players but they can't register them to play. Either way, they're stuffed until they sort their issues.
