The under-23 Matildas will be participating in the 2025 ASEAN Women's Championship in Vietnam between August 6th and August 19th. Matildas assistant coach Joe Palatsides will be head coach of the under-23s for the tournament.

The Young Matildas thrashed Tajikistan 14-0 in their opening qualifier for the under-20 Women's Asian Cup to go top of group C after matchday 1. Next game is against Palestine on August 8th.

some of these teams are just banana peals in Asia in the mens youth tournaments, I suppose its becoming similar in the women's game
