Spink to come in based on how things went today and Mikkola to start over Brennan would be my thoughts vs the Bergers. As for the cup match, Ren is cup tied and won't be able to play so assuming it'll be Brennan, Bonada and Mikkola starting up top.

The coach must speak to the team and try and put an end to so many suspensions. It’s either a lack of discipline or concentration.

Assuming that Spink is not cup tied, you are spot on.
 
At least Brennan and Bonada were taken off, and Iwakami continues to provide good value for about 65-70 minutes.

The next 2 matches exposes our lack of depth in the squad. If we had another 1-2 decent players on the bench you could have used them in Hobart if we had the result largely under control to rest Starting XI players with the Heidelberg match in mind. Now we have to go full effort against South Hobart, and hope the squad can back it up against Heidelberg.

Given Nagamatsu is cup tied, he can focus on the Heidelberg match.

For me also, focus now should be solely on the 2 cups... the league game this weekend is not important now

I heard that we ARE appealing this morning. and rightfully so, the 4th offical ran over like someone had been shot... what a tool... he spent the whole game running around picking up stray balls to throw to Altona players to help beat the clock..... somebody better check his bet 365 account....

Javi Lopez was just amazing again. Pulled off 1-2 great saves.

Team sat a little too deep in the second half as they focused on keeping that 2 goal lead.

Absolute gut buster effort from the lads, Leech and Painter where joint MOM for me.... Ive run out of words to praise Javi.....

Andy was cooking but glad we rested him after the red... Bonada is really hungry for goals...... Such a shit decision to award that non-red... killed what was looking like a very entertaining match... Proud that the boys kept a clean sheet and got the win.

Spink showed really good signs also for me.. he came on solid and was very hungry! Only issue perhaps is that hunger (given the refs) this season may result in a red at the first opportunity!

first time in a loooong time that we have made 3 really decent mid season recruitments... I hope to say the same for Menelaou but havent really seen enough of him yet.... He isnt cup tied for Wednesday, lets see if he gets a run?

I hear there is a bit of a decent contingent of South fans heading down to Tassie.... to anyone going make us proud boys and girls.... :)

I thought Spink provided good value when he came on. Seems to be a handy pick up. Hopefully he is not cup tied.
 
The South Hobart coach was on SEN Tassie this morning. He mentioned they’ll look to target the left centre back position with Jankovic being suspended so it’s going to be a big challenge for Spink. Hopefully he’s up to it.

There coach also mentioned that South will be appealing the Jankovic suspension but said was unlikely to get off from what hes heard

Hahah no I bought the beer fridge back in 2012 ... Come to think of it your Australian club may be a a wee bit older than my fridge ... your foreign one though???? :P
