Only other confirmed bids so far are Indonesia, UAE and Kuwait.

Given 2019 was UAE, 2023 was Qatar and 2027 will be Saudi, surely a Middle East team shouldn't even be permitted to bid for 2031!

Remember it's 24 teams now instead of 16 in 2015 so plenty more football would be played across Australia. Given how competitive it's become, 32 would be epic, but very unlikely.

Looking at teams who just missed out last time. Singapore, HK would add massive commercial interest. Kuwait and Philippines with the latter having a massive community in Australia. It really start to thin out with 4 absolute minnows being needed.
