Paul Okon-Engstler started and played the entire first half for Köln in their 4-1 Bundesliga loss to VfB Stuttgart before being subbed off at the half.

Okon with an interesting battle with shkiri

Team lost 1 nil with okon on and 3-1 with shkiri on. So hopefully okon gets another go next game

We all hope that he starts next game, but he's getting torched by the fans on Instagram. Maybe he was playing too conservative/ defensive for their liking? I'll have to watch the replay of the first half

Unfortunate really as a forced omission against Brazil will allow us to try someone else.

We get good reliability out of O'Neill and Italiano and I think both have a solid understanding of Popovic's system. Playing them in every single friendly is pointless.
