That's not exactly a rare phenomena. Those people on that show are just clueless. Absolutely no knowledge of Australian Soccer before the A League

Isn’t the Championship fun by Football Australia?! Why keep banging on about the APL? Baffling!Proudly sponsored by APL, the PFA and Vince Rugari. hahahahahahahaha
Because the APL has more votes on the board of football Australia than anybody else and the fact you dont know this is even more baffling.Isn’t the Championship fun by Football Australia?! Why keep banging on about the APL? Baffling!
I’m no expert in Aus football governance. I leave that to the experts on here.Because the APL has more votes on the board of football Australia than anybody else and the fact you dont know this is even more baffling.
50 votes divided between member feds who serve various stakeholders.I’m no expert in Aus football governance. I leave that to the experts on here.
Did anyone actually ask for penalty shootouts after draws? Or is this just another case of administrative incompetence?
Yeah that's the board. The fa board are accountable to the Congress and the apl board is accountable to who knows?FA Current Board Members

I spent 10 minutes Googling, copying and pasting, and tidying it up.

Yes I know I am a cantankerous old cynic but we dont hear ANYTHING about the NSD or the championship for months then ON THE SAME DAY we get an article expanding on the APL model of A1-A2 for pro rel (and yes it IS the APL behind it, Matt Windley may be the eh"spokeperson" but this is very much an APL product) AND an Aus Champ launch with penalties to eliminate draws... hahahahhaFA Current Board Members

try your hand at analysing the National Curriculum and how many forward facing touches each player made during a full moon. hahahah ...I’m no expert in Aus football governance. I leave that to the experts on here.
All questions we would like to know answers too.How long does this format last? Who are realistic to add to the foundation 8 for a home and away format.
Renegotiated in December with anything from keeping the current format, to expanding to home and away or turning it into something mickey mouse is possibleHow long does this format last? Who are realistic to add to the foundation 8 for a home and away format.
If it is NOT killed, as I anticipate, there is some mild hope for football in this countryRenegotiated in December with anything from keeping the current format, to expanding to home and away or turning it into something mickey mouse is possible
They have committed to 5 years, but only 2 years in the current formatIf it is NOT killed, as I anticipate, there is some mild hope for football in this country
So the question remains. A NSD needs to have more than 2 states. So who can realistically step up. Someone mentioned Adelaide City in relation to them chasing Balotelli. If they have that sort of money then they would seem to be a chance. South Hobart. I suspect we forget a Perth team at this stage. Queensland federation seems to be a problem as well. They have committed to 5 years, but only 2 years in the current format
Does South Hobart have the money to though? Ideally because of geographic placement, I think Canberra would be in a good spot if it's going to be primarily VIC + NSW. But the only club in Canberra that I can realistically see even be able to be a waiter at that party is Croatia. So the question remains. A NSD needs to have more than 2 states. But a 10 team 4 state 18 game home and away plus finals seems very doable.
Thats the scuttlebut sure, but lets see what the "new" format will be for the final 3 years before we crack the bubbly. They have committed to 5 years, but only 2 years in the current format

A closed 10 or 12 or 14 club NST will fail , maybe not immediately but after 2-3 years it will.. Has to be pro rel from the very start (or from the second season at worst) for this to have ANY chance of succeeding. So the question remains. A NSD needs to have more than 2 states. I'm happy with that - but it needs to go wider than 2 states first.A closed 10 or 12 or 14 club NST will fail , maybe not immediately but after 2-3 years it will.. Has to be pro rel from the very start (or from the second season at worst) for this to have ANY chance of succeeding.
The first 2 years were meant to be about "gathering metrics" lets see what lies they feed us in December.
