Australian transfers 26-27 Summer

Souttar. Any other AA with a deadline move possible? The Izzo saga seems over. Teague definitely needs something. Matthews apparently viewing a loan. Leonard too.
More returns. Surprised the likes of Petratos, Amini, Heward-Belle, Brad Smith and Ruiz-Diaz haven't landed deals in Australia yet and removed themselves from the AA list.

Now there are some names from the archive, but the surely some are past use by date.
Agreed. I'd say they're now only squaddie level and I'd prefer the clubs give those spots to youngsters looking to improve. Maybe H-B who is still at a good age but looks like he was second fiddle in J2 so not really encouraging. Brad Smith probably borderline. If they want another season then Asia 2nd tier would be better bets, something like Amini to Indonesia, H-B Thailand, Petratos Malaysia and Smith to Harry or Arthur in Vietnam. Ruiz-Diaz I have no idea what to make of him. Looked reasonably promising early on then his career fell off a cliff it seems.

Surely if Toure keeps up his form any longer he will move?
He is playing in a team well set up to create chances for him and likely to be near the top of the table. He's also clearly got mates there so enjoys the team culture...

But this IS professional football we're talking about so who knows? I think he'll be at Norwich at least until January.

Gudy Galetti reporting that Trabzonspor have made a fresh bid

There were probably a few questioning Okon-Engstlers move to Sydney from the Benfica youth set-up. In 12-months he played in a World Cup and got a move to the Bundesliga.

Overy's move feels similar. Hopefully this gives him the platform to show his talent and then we can see him make another go of it in Europe.
